The Uzuña lagoon was an earthen dam project. It is located between the Yanaorco, Paltaorco and Humpuco hills, at the confluence of the Totorani and Uzuña rivers that form the Polobaya river, in the Pampa de Ccoragache area of the Polobaya distric.
  •  7:30 am. Pick up from your hotels located in Arequipa downtown.
  • We leave through Socabaya, passing through the district of Yarabamba (land of bullfights) and then zigzagging up some hills, an area called "Cuesta de Hornillos" that is on the right side of the Pichupichu volcano. The track reaches the top of a plateau.
  • We will arrive at the Uzuña lagoon where we will have free time to enjoy and to take the walk through one.
  • This is a dam that was built in order to store water, this water is used for times of drought. But today it is a lagoon where trout is raised and there are adventure sports PRACTICE OF KAYAC (optional) from 30 to 45 minutes on the lake and in the middle of these beautiful landscapes.
  • Optional walk and free time for lunch.
  • 13:00 Return to the city with tourist stops such as Pocsi and Characato.
  • 14:00 End of the tour in Arequipa.
